Illegal Drugs
Millions of people use illegal drugs every day. Sad as that fact is, it is true. Marijuana, cocaine, heroin, crystal meth, ecstasy and many other illegal substances are being sold and used (abused) in the United States all the time. However, people also use drugs that are legal, such as prescription drugs, in an illegal manner (i.e., without a prescription). Also, many people sniff paint fumes or use other drugs that are meant for other purposes. All of these uses are destructive and many trample on the laws that make the United States the strong nation that it is.
It is of the utmost importance and urgency that we do all we can to learn about drugs that are illegal (or illegal uses of legal substances) and strive to stop them from being used and distributed. Imagine what the world would be like without the illegal use of drugs. It would be a cleaner, happier place! People would live longer, more satisfying lives and accomplish their goals much more frequently without illegally using drugs.
Unfortunately, new illegal combinations of drugs are continually appearing on the illegal market. Also, many drug users prefer to combine different illegal substances in ways that cause extra harm to their bodies and minds. It is estimated that illegal drug use costs the United States billions of dollars every year in lost productivity, law enforcement and health care costs.
